About Course
Classroom management is a difficult challenge for educators. For teachers teaching their first-year, it is often rated as the primary area of concern, and is the most common reason many educators leave education. For many teachers, enforcing discipline in the classroom is frustrating and downright exhausting.
Research shows that only 30% of all teacher training offers courses that specifically address classroom management.
Although the curriculum has changed remarkably over the years, the behaviour management approaches in general have not. This leads to a potential contradiction between a curriculum that encourages problem solving and critical thinking, and a management system that demands compliance and narrow obedience.
