Computer Literacy for Preschool Teachers | Short Course
About Course
Computer Literacy for Preschool Teachers | Short Course is a practical, colourful and beginner-friendly course for preschool teachers, ECD practitioners and nursery-school staff who want to feel more confident with everyday computer tasks.
The course is built around real preschool work rather than technical theory. Learners practise using Windows, organising files, saving and finding documents, using USB drives, downloading and uploading files, working with PDFs, using Microsoft Print to PDF, printing carefully, searching the internet, sending professional email, recognising basic online risks, and using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for common preschool administration and communication.
The final module introduces Canva Free for creating a simple preschool notice. The Canva section is intentionally introductory; advanced design is outside the scope of this short course.
Course approach: Complete the guided activities on your own Windows computer. Examples use fictional preschool information so that you can practise safely without exposing real learner or parent data.
Assessment: A 30-question final quiz.
